Definitions
- the invention relates to a screw cap for vessels which is resistant to overturning and secure for vessels, in particular for storage bottles containing cleaning fluids, consisting of a spout arranged on the vessel with a first two-start external thread and molded radial-spreading catches and a screw cap which can be expanded by the catches an outer shell molded widening wedges and a separate threaded piece with a first two-start internal thread, which corresponds to the first external thread of the spout, the gears of the first external thread being arranged on a ring so that they each encompass an angle of ⁇ 180 ° and do not or or only slightly overlap, are arranged between the radially spreading catches and the ring sleepers, and the separate threaded piece, as an overturning protection, has opposite wedge-shaped incisions with abutting edges in the screwed-on state on the sleepers n owns.
- Screw closure is known from European patent specification 0 257 481. Screw caps of this type are used to close vessels, on the one hand providing effective child safety for the screw cap.
- REPLACEMENT LEAF should be achieved and on the other hand a simple production, in particular by an injection molding process, is possible.
- the known screw caps have the disadvantage that the spout formed on them has an outlet opening of relatively small diameter, which is matched to the contents of the vessel and the usually desired amount to be dispensed.
- the above-mentioned containers should be refillable today.
- the refilling of the containers via the known screw caps is very difficult and with the help of additional elements, for example a funnel, because larger quantities of material can only be filled into the container very poorly through the relatively small dispensing opening of the spout.
- the object of the present invention is to overcome the known disadvantages and to provide a screw cap which, on the one hand, is easy to manufacture, includes a childproof lock and, on the other hand, enables the devices equipped with this screw cap to be refilled easily and quickly, none at all additional aids are required.
- the spout consists of a base plate carrying the ring, the catches and the sleepers, which is arranged on the vessel, and a reducer which is detachably inserted into the ring.
- REPLACEMENT LEAF carries, into which the reducer provided with a corresponding second external thread is screwed. This provides a connection between the reducer and the ring which is also leak-proof and which can be released without aids.
- a second embodiment has a reducer, which is connected to the ring by a hinge and essentially closes the latter in the form of a cover in the working position.
- the working position is to be understood as the position of the reducer, in which the small discharge opening is the only opening in the vessel and the large refill opening is closed by the reducer itself.
- the reducer has a bead which in the working position engages behind a locking edge arranged on the ring. This means that when the reducer is placed or screwed into the ring, an additional engagement of the bead behind the locking edge is required, as a result of which the tightness of the connection is increased and automatic loosening of the reducer from the ring is excluded.
- the reducer has a substantially cylindrical shape, with one end of the cylinder being closed by a disk which has an outlet opening in its center, which has a smaller diameter than the opposite opening of the cylinder, and opens into a pouring spout which rises tubularly over the pane.
- Figure 1 is a reducer with an external thread in a partially sectioned side view.
- FIG. 2 shows the reducer from FIG. 1 in a top view from above
- FIG. 3 shows a base plate of a spout in a partially sectioned side view
- FIG. 4 shows the base plate from FIG. 3 in a top view from above
- FIG. 6 shows the screw cap from FIG. 4 in a top view from below
- Fig. 7 shows a second embodiment of the base plate with the reducer, which is attached to the base plate via a hinge, in a sectional side view.
- the reducer 1 shows a reducer 1.
- the reducer 1 has an essentially cylindrical shape with a cylinder wall 3, on the outside of which an external thread 5 is attached.
- the external thread 5 is a three-start thread with a pitch of approximately 3 mm.
- the upper end face of the cylinder forming the lower part of the reducer is closed by a disk 7 in a large area of the cylinder opening. In its peripheral area, the disk 7 is widened to form a toothed ring 9, the teeth of which serve for secure gripping and easy screwing of the reducer.
- In the middle of the disk 7 there is an outlet opening 11, the diameter of which in the example is approximately 38% of the diameter of the cylinder forming the lower part of the reducer.
- the outlet opening 11 in turn opens into a tubular pouring spout 13, which extends a small amount over the
- REPLACEMENT LEAF Disc 7 rises. Furthermore, a bead 15 is arranged on the reducer 1 on the outside of the cylinder wall 3 between the washer 7 and the external thread 5 and extends slightly over the height of the external thread 5.
- the pouring spout 13 ends with a drip edge 17, which also serves as a guide for a corresponding counterpart in the screw cap to be described later.
- Fig. 3 shows a base plate 19 which acts in connection with the reducer 1 as a spout.
- the base plate 19 is equipped with locking elements 21 and 22, which serve to fasten the base plate to the vessel.
- a ring 23 Centered on the base plate 19, at a radial distance from the outer boundary, a ring 23 rises, on the outer wall of which a further external thread 25 is arranged.
- the external thread 25 consists of two half gears, which do not overlap or only slightly overlap, i.e. the upper edge of the first half thread starts below the lower edge of the second half thread.
- Latches 27 are also arranged on the base plate 19.
- On the inner wall of the ring 23 there is a three-start internal thread 29 which interacts with the external thread 5 when the reducer 1 is screwed into the ring 23.
- On the top On the inner wall of the ring 23 there is a three-start internal thread 29 which interacts with the external thread 5 when the reducer 1 is screwed into the
- Edge of the inner wall of the ring 23 is a locking edge 31 which is designed as a narrow bead.
- the bead 15 snaps beneath the locking edge 31, which ensures a particularly tight fit of the reducer and prevents automatic loosening.
- REPLACEMENT LEAF 19 raise.
- the catches 27 are wedge-shaped in a known manner and have an indentation 35.
- the closure part of the screw closure is formed by a screw cap 37 shown in FIG. 5.
- the screw cap 37 has a separate threaded piece 39, at the lower end of which a further internal thread 41 is arranged, which cooperates with the external thread 25 of the base plate when the screw cap 37 is screwed onto the spout.
- the threaded piece 39 ends at its lower end in two wedge-shaped cuts 43, which are arranged opposite each other and each form a butt edge 45, which in turn abut the sleepers 33 of the base plate 19 when the screw cap is screwed on and overtighten the screw cap prevent.
- the screw cap 37 furthermore has an outer casing 47 and a closure piece 49 arranged in the center of the threaded piece 39.
- the closure socket 49 engages in the pouring socket 13 of the reducer when the screw cap is screwed on and brings about a tight closure.
- the outer casing 47 is pressed together at two pressure points 52, which are each offset by 90 ° to the expanding wedges 51, as a result of which the outer casing 47 is deformed and the expanding casing 51 is moved outwards , and the screw cap is turned in the counterclockwise direction in order to move the expanding wedges 51 past the catches 27.
- the abutting edges 45 are reinforced by abutting plates 53.
- REPLACEMENT LEAF Fig. 7 shows a second embodiment of the spout, which consists of the reducer 1 and the base plate 19.
- This embodiment has a simpler structure and is suitable, for example, for use on containers in which powdered material is stored.
- the reducer 1 and the base plate 19 are connected to one another via a hinge 55, which enables the reducer 1 to fold.
- a snap-in wedge 57 which serves as a locking element when the reducer is closed.
- the internal thread within the ring 23 and the external thread on the reducing piece 1 are therefore absent in this embodiment. Otherwise, the explanations given for the previously described embodiment apply.
