Abstract

Dans un appareil et un procédé pour l'introduction d'un élément allongé dans une commetteuse à double torsion, une bande (14) est délivrée dans le sens axial par une bande bobinée (16) à travers un pivot de fusée (8) en vue de son application sur une pluralité de fils (2) tordus ensemble, en un point où une deuxième torsion est appliquée au moyen d'un rotor (4) effectuant une rotation dans un berceau. Lorsque la bande est appliquée au point de la deuxième et dernière torsion, elle n'est pas soumise à une autre torsion qui le froisserait, ni aux forces centrifuges produites lors de la traversée du rotor (4). La bande peut être délivrée à partir d'une bobine enroulée concentrique ou hélicoïdale. Elle peut aussi être remplacée par des fils métalliques délivrés par des bobines.
