Abstract

Un procédé et un appareil de nettoyage d'une surface optique telle qu'un verre de lunettes (3), consistent à utiliser une tête de nettoyage dotée d'un joint d'étanchéité par contact (7) venant se placer autour du périmètre de la surface à nettoyer. La tête de nettoyage définit une cavité de nettoyage peu profonde qui englobe la surface optique, laquelle est nettoyée grâce au passage dans cette cavité d'un courant d'air (8) à haute vitesse balayant cette surface. Un fluide de nettoyage est alors introduit dans ce courant d'air pour décaper les impuretés présentes sur la surface (3). On interrompt l'envoi de ce fluide nettoyant tout en maintenant le courant d'air afin d'éliminer tout reste du fluide de nettoyage. Une application particulière de ce procédé permet de nettoyer simultanément les quatre surfaces des verres d'une paire de lunettes de vision tridimensionnelle.
