Abstract

The invention pertains to the structural design, materials selection and manufacturing technics of blister packaging for small-dimensional products such as tablets, candies, small components or the like. The invention proposes that individual functional elements which are standard with conventional commercial blister packs are combined in one integral unit which is produced from a thermoplastic plastic by thermoforming or injection molding. Thus, the blister, wrapper and possibly additional product information functions can be combined in a one product made from one material. Such blister packages offer advantages over conventional ones in terms of production, use, and disposal or material recycling.

Thermoplastic is chosen as the material for the packaging. For reasons of physiological harmlessness, only new plastic goods are used for the packaging of pharmaceutical or food products in the area of product contact. For the variant according to claim 3, in which the blister and folding box material are bonded to one another, secondary processed plastic can also be used for the folding box material according to claim 4. The types or types of plastic used are, according to claim 1, those which are in joint remelting recycling are compatible with one another. If secondary-processed plastic is used, it can be made of such material that results from internal punching and scrap waste or from the waste material collection in the internal recycling. Plastic types are preferably PVC, PET or PP, since there is a sufficient variety of special types available for these types, such as are necessary for thermoforming, foldability, weldability, printability and physiological harmlessness.
Ausführungsbeispiele:The packaging is preferably made of thermoplastic film as a semi-finished product. This semifinished product is deep-drawn and / or embossed on conventional thermoforming machines. Printing can take place before or after the thermoforming process. Alternatively, production by injection molding with the formation of appropriate blister recesses and folded edges is possible. The preformed parts can be filled on conventional packaging machines with slight modification. Welding and / or sealing as well as folding of thermoplastic films is also possible without problems with conventional packaging machines. Examples:
Auf den dreieckigen Seitenflächen kann eine zusätzliche Siegelfolie 11 als Verkaufsversiegelung angebracht werden.FIG. 1 shows the design of a packaging for tablets, chewing gum or the like. The blister packs according to the invention are easily recyclable or reusable as thermoplastic single-product products. At the same time, all application advantages of previous blister packaging are retained. In addition, other application advantages, such as the coherent unity of product, product information and outer packaging, are created.
Depending on the variant, the manufacturing technology can also be significantly simplified. If different materials and functional elements still have to be brought together for today's sales packaging with blister packs, the blister packs according to the invention can be produced in one line and in part from a starting semifinished product. A final merging of blister, product information and conversion no packaging.
In the disposal, the blister packs according to the invention can be recorded as largely flat parts and can therefore be returned with little volume. There is a single disposal route (plastic) for the used sales packaging, whereas with conventional blister packaging two (blister and paper / cardboard) or three (plastic, aluminum, paper / cardboard) disposal routes and corresponding sorting are necessary are. Recycled waste material can be recycled in the same application (as a folding box material) for the production of the corresponding variants, which favors collection and recycling systems specific to the product group.
A variety of shapes and functions can be produced as blister packs according to the invention. Thus, the different appearances required for sales packaging of different products can be constructively achieved as blister packs according to the invention.
The blister packs according to the invention for small-sized products can therefore be manufactured more cheaply, can be better used, and can be disposed of more cheaply and technically more easily than conventional packagings for similar products using a wide variety of design variants.
