Fig. 2 einen Tabletten- bzw.

The invention relates to a clamshell packaging for tablets or pills with a perforated strip serving as a carrier part for receiving a tablet or pill push-through strip and a cover part which is arranged on the perforated strip and is foldable by means of a fold and serves as a cover part.
The known packaging for tablets or pills are mostly cans with a lid or cylindrical tubes, which are closed by means of a pin or the like. Flat hinged packagings made of cardboard or plastic are already known, the inside of which has a carrier part for tablets or pills. It is also customary to wrap medicaments in so-called push-through strips and to arrange these in turn over corresponding perforated strips serving as a carrier part. The packaged tablets or
Pills can be removed by simply pressing them out of the push-through strips via the perforated strips of the carrier part arranged underneath. In this packaging, however, the medicaments are only arranged on a single push-through strip and thus in a single plane, which can only be expanded into an unwieldy, large sheet as the number of tablets or pills increases.
In contrast, the invention aims to create a handy flip-top packaging which is also suitable for packing larger amounts of medicament in pill or tablet form and which does not have the disadvantages mentioned.
This is achieved in a hinged packaging of the type mentioned at the outset in that the carrier part consists of at least one basic unit consisting of a base strip and a perforated cover strip which is arranged on this by means of a fold so that it can be folded in, the recesses corresponding to the tablets or pills being made in the perforated strips so that the overlying tablet or pill strips of a respective base unit interlock in the folded state and the dimensions of the lid part and perforated strip are designed so that the folded packaging results in a uniform, roughly box-shaped structure.
A bottom part serving as a further cover part for covering the bottom perforated strip is expediently arranged in a foldable manner by means of a fold on the cover part of the hinged packaging. The individual folds are preferably each designed as fold pairs, so that this creates certain intermediate spaces as spacers. In a preferred embodiment of the hinged packaging according to the invention, the base part, cover part, base perforated strip and cover perforated strip are arranged continuously on a strip. A hinged packaging is also preferred, in which the bottom part, lid part and bottom perforated strip are arranged continuously on a strip and the perforated cover strip or strips protrude laterally from these strips and are each foldable with the associated bottom perforated strip via folds.
The first-mentioned type of packaging consists in particular of a single basic unit arranged continuously on a strip. The second-mentioned type of packaging consists in particular of two basic units each continuously arranged on a strip, with the perforated cover strips protruding laterally from this strip. It is also advisable to provide a hole in the middle between the lid part and the bottom perforated strip of the hinged packaging, so that the folded-up packaging can be hung on a nail or pin for stacking, for example. Conventional packaging materials, preferably cardboard or cardboard with conventional lamination or plastic, can be used as the material for producing the hinged packaging according to the invention.
The packaging according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a hinged packaging in which the individual components are continuously arranged on a strip, without tablet or pill push-through strips,
2 shows a tablet or pill push-through strip,
Fig. 3 shows a hinged packaging according to Fig. 1 with corresponding tablets backing according to Fig. 2, Fig. 4 shows a hinged packaging made of two basic units, with an essentially strip-shaped shape, but with the perforated cover strips protruding laterally from the strip.
The package shown in Fig. 1 is made from a single cut of laminated cardboard. It consists of the shell part serving as the bottom part 7 for covering the bottom perforated strip 1, which merges via the fold pair 2, 2 and the spacer 8 formed thereby into the cover part 6 also serving as the shell part. On its free narrow side, the bottom perforated strip 1 is again arranged via a fold pair 2, 2 and a spacer 8 so that it can be folded and seamlessly. The perforated cover strip 3 in turn adjoins the narrow side of this perforated bottom strip 1 via a pair of folds 2, 2 and a spacer 8 without a transition. The recesses in the respective perforated strips 1 and 3 are denoted by 4.
On the cover part 6 as well as on the bottom perforated strip 1, the holes 9, 9 can also be seen, which come to lie on top of one another when the packaging is folded, so that it can be hung up for stacking.
Fig. 2 shows a per se known tablet or
Pill push-through strips 5, for the production of which the tablets or pills 11 are placed in containers 10 formed by deep-drawing a transparent plastic film, which are then expediently covered and sealed entirely with an aluminum film. For removal, the tablets or pills are ejected through the aluminum foil by simply pressing the individual containers.
Fig. 3 shows the packaging shown in Fig. 1, but provided with corresponding tablet or
Pill push-through strips 5. The latter are arranged in the packaging so that the tablet or pill containers 10 come to rest over the recesses 4 of the individual perforated strips 1, 3 and these containers do not interfere with each other when the bottom perforated strip 1 and cover perforated strip 3 are folded together come to rest. The other symbols are the same as those in FIG. 1.
Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of the packaging according to the invention, each consisting of two successively arranged basic units of bottom perforated strips 1 and A corner perforated strips 3 protruding laterally from the main strip. The tablet or pill push-through strips 5 shown in FIG. 3 are omitted here for the sake of simplicity. The symbols correspond in detail to those of the figures already described.
For packaging and for transporting the tablets or pills, the perforated cover strips 3 are each folded onto the perforated base strips 1 by means of the pairs of folds in between 2, 2, whereupon, if the packaging has several basic units formed by this, these are initially also folded over pairs of folds 2, 2 and spacers 8 is placed on top of one another and the structure of one or more basic units is then brought into the desired packaging form by folding the cover part 6 of the cover part onto the back of the top cover hole strip 3 and further folding down the bottom part 7 of the cover part onto the underside of the bottom hole strip 1.
The cover part consisting of cover part 6 and base part 7 can be provided on the inside of the packaging with various writings, which provide information about the content, manufacturer, indication or dosage of the contents of the package, and the outside of the cover part 6 can also be used for appropriate labeling of the packaged goods . In a similar way, the next to the tablets or
Pill push-through strips 5 are labeled on the edges remaining on the bottom perforated strip 11 or cover perforated strip 3, and the same also applies to the outside of the bottom part 7 serving as a cover part and to the spacers 8 formed by the individual fold pairs 2, 2.
The advantages of the hinged packaging according to the invention are characterized in particular by their flat and at the same time space-saving shape. It can therefore be conveniently placed in pockets of clothing or anywhere else. The simple design of the basic parts of the packaging and the possibility of being able to produce them with commercially available machines result in a considerable reduction in the costs of the finished packaging. At the same time, tablets or pills can be stored hygienically and removed without manual contact.
