Abstract

Un moteur à combustion interne, de grande taille, du type à crosse et présentant un diamètre de cylindre ne dépassant pas 90 cm, comprend des cylindres disposés en deux rangées en V. La structure principale fixe du moteur est divisée en éléments séparés sous forme d'une plaque de base (12) pourvue d'un carter (14) et d'une partie cylindre (13), ces éléments étant fixés ensemble par l'intermédiaire de boulons d'ancrage (26) dont au moins deux s'étendent de manière oblique par rapport au plan médian (29) du moteur. Les surfaces de séparation entre les éléments structuraux séparés sont réciproquement verrouillées, soit par une liaison de forme déterminée par l'inclinaison de la face de jonction, soit par l'intermédiaire d'éléments de verrouillage.
