  • the slide engages the ring-shaped plane face 27 downwardly on the sealing ring with its first upwardly directed collar 28, and the sealing ring is therefore affected by an up ⁇ wardly directed force trying to lift the sealing ring clear of the valve 2 against the pressure of the gas which is confined in the cavity above the sealing ring.
  • the sealing ring hereby bends at the innermost end, seen in cross-section, while the outermost end is still pressed down against the valve by the gas pressure. Initially the spring force from the highly compressed large, lower rib 19 acts in the same direction as the lifting force of the slide, which is thereby reduced correspondingly.
  • the bending of the ring has reached the area at the lower rib 19, this is gradually lifted so much that, because of its triangular profile, it no longer has the necessary strength and stability to resist the pressure from the confined pressure gas.
  • the lower rib 19 therefore collapses and permits the gas to escape to the atmosphere.
  • the sealing ring is then completely unloaded and can be lifted freely.
  • the structure of the sealing ring entails that at no time of the complete lifting ope ⁇ ration has it been necessary to use a lifting force which is just as great as the force by which the confined pres ⁇ sure gas affects the sealing ring.
  • a dispenser head mounted on a valve in a pressure container can be removed easily and without any difficulty when the container is e.g. to be exchanged.
  • the reason is that the sealing ring is not fixed against the valve by the pres ⁇ sure of the confined gas above the sealing ring, since this is relieved completely when the handgrip of the dis- an head is pulled up to close the container. This only requires a modest effort from the operating staff. Further, the operating staff and the surroundings will not be splashed with liquid when the container is opened.

Abstract

Dispositif de branchement permettant d'unir une tête de distribution (1) au clapet (2) monté sur une pièce de réunion (3) d'un conteneur (4) à liquide, tel que de la bière mise en pression par un gaz, comme du CO2. L'étanchéité entre les deux éléments (1, 2) est réalisée par une bague d'étanchéité (16) montée coulissante dans le sens axial à l'intérieur d'un évidement (17) dans la tête distributrice. Cette dernière comporte en outre un coulisseau (9) pouvant être déplacé verticalement vers le haut et vers le bas à l'aide d'une poignée (10) pour réaliser respectivement la fermeture et l'ouverture du conteneur et de l'admission de gaz sous pression. Ce coulisseau comporte à sa partie inférieure une première collerette (28) dirigée vers l'extérieur, qui soulève la bague d'étanchéité et la dégage du clapet lorsque le conteneur doit être fermé et la tête distributrice enlevée. Le coulisseau comporte en outre une deuxième collerette (29) dirigée vers l'extérieur, qui a pour fonction de mettre la bague d'étanchéité au contact du clapet avant que le coulisseau n'ouvre le clapet et l'admission de gaz. Pour garantir une étanchéité effective et un démontage aisé, la bague d'étanchéité (16) comporte une nervure annulaire (19) relativement importante, à profil triangulaire, à sa partie inférieure. Ce dispositif de branchement permet de monter aisément et sans difficulté une tête distributrice sur le clapet d'un conteneur à pression renfermant un liquide sous pression sous l'effet d'un gaz et de retirer cette tête tout aussi facilement. Ce dispositif prémunit en outre le personnel chargé de son maniement contre les éclaboussures au moment de l'ouverture du conteneur.
