Beschreibungdescription
The invention relates to a drum wall for revolving doors, which consists of a series of curved glass and metal strips. The glass and metal strips are connected to each other by a permanently elastic joint, thus ensuring that there is an airtight seal between the inside and the outside of a building. Through this sequence of the curved strips, a flexible facade connection is practically possible at any point in such a way that glass as well as metal elements or masonry can be connected.
Bei dieser Konstruktionsart ist es sehr schwierig, beispielsweiseEuropean patent specification 0 078 504 B1 shows a wall end of a drum wall, which consists of • straight, flat, transparent bands. The individual tapes are not curved in themselves and, due to their narrow width of at least 7.62 cm, are connected to one another by a permanently elastic joint compound. At the top and bottom edge, these rectangular bands are held in an arched frame. With this type of construction it is very difficult, for example
- ι -To fasten building connections of facade parts or to attach them at all. This is not possible in particular if, for example, the facade is already made of stone or metal and the door has to be inserted subsequently. On-site tolerances cannot be compensated. - ι -
The object of the invention is to design a drum wall for panel doors in such a way that, given different structural conditions, asymmetrical different facade connections and necessary tolerance compensation can also be carried out.
According to the invention the object is achieved in that the drum wall consists of any sequence of curved glass or metal strips. The metal tapes have the same shape as the glass tapes and are guided in a frame on the floor and ceiling. Depending on the on-site situation, the sequence of glass or metal strips can be chosen freely. This makes it possible to establish a building connection and thus a clean, proper facade connection at any location. The facade connection is then preferably carried out in the area of a metal strip or several metal strips. The corresponding anchors or connections to the building structure can be made here. This can be carried out by welding, gluing with a permanently elastic mass or also using masonry anchors attached to the metal strip.
Because of the object according to the invention, it is thus possible to carry out facade connections virtually at any point on the drum wall and thus also asymmetrically.
Es ze gt:The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of schematically illustrated exemplary embodiments. It shows:
Figur 1: Symmetrische MauerwerksfassadeFigure 1: Symmetrical masonry facade
Figur 2: Asymmetrische MauerwerksfassadeFigure 2: Asymmetric masonry facade
Figur 3: Einbau einer Karusselltür im Bereich der Schau¬ fenster
Figur 4: Metallansch uß und GlasanschlußFigure 3: Installation of a revolving door in the area of the shop window Figure 4: Metal connection and glass connection
The wings (2) of the door are attached to a turnstile (18) of a revolving door (1). These wings (2) rotate around the point (18) and thus ensure that the outside area (13) and the inside area of a building are closed against each other without any draft. So that a draft-free closure is guaranteed, a revolving door requires so-called drum walls (3) which nestle in a curved shape around the turnstile (18) with the wings (2). The drum wall (3) is interrupted by two areas, namely the entrance and exit openings of the building.
Um einen flexiblen Wandanschluß zwischenWith existing revolving doors, these drum walls are either made entirely of glass or entirely of metal. To have a flexible wall connection between
Diese Metallbänder (4) haben den gleichen gebogenenDrum wall (3) and e.g. a wall facade (7) and (8), it is necessary that e.g. In the case of partially transparent or transparent drum walls, metal bands (4) must be used instead of the glass bands (5). These metal strips (4) have the same curved shape
Radius like the glass strips (5) and are connected to each other by a permanently elastic joint compound. In the area of the metal strips (4), which can also be designed as double metal strips (6), facade connections can be made without problems.
problemlos ausgleichen. The facade connection shown in FIG. 1 via a symmetrical wall facade (7) and (8) is in the area of a double metal strip (6), for example via anchors not shown in the metal strip or by cover strips, which are also not shown, between the facade wall and Perform metal tape. The façade connections (9) and (10) thus made represent a clean and aesthetic solution. This also allows for manufacturing tolerances of the building structure compensate easily.
In addition to the symmetrical wall facade connection shown in FIG. 1, an asymmetrical connection is also possible, as shown in FIG. This application option offers better design options, particularly in the architectural field.
The exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 shows a revolving door (1) which is integrated within a shop window facade (15). Here the glass walls (11) and (12) have been connected to the metal strips (6) in a joint-tight manner. However, it is also possible not to carry out the connection in the area of the metal strips, particularly in the case of glass walls, but also in the region of the glass strips (5). A joint-tight adjustment would then be carried out here by means of permanently elastic sealing. In the area of the metal strips, an additional connection profile, which is connected to the metal strip, can also be used to connect a further metal strip, which branches off or for a subsequent glass wall (11) or (12). This also shows the embodiment of FIG. 4, in which on the one hand a metal facade (16) is connected via a metal band (6) and on the other hand a glass facade (17) is connected to a glass band.
BezugszeichenverzeichnisThe exemplary embodiments show that a flexible connection to an existing structure, regardless of the type of embodiment, whether metal, stone or glass, is possible due to the subject matter of the invention. List of reference symbols
