On a déjà essayé de résoudre ce problème en conformant de manière spéciale l'enveloppe protectrice isolante du corps de la fiche. On a par exemple prévu de façonner sa partie arrière, c'est-à-dire du côté câble, avec des rainures pour faciliter la prise de la fiche. On a aussi déjà prévu des enveloppes de fiche sur lesquelles un organe d'extraction de la fiche est façonné d'une pièce sur celle-ci, sous la forme d'un oeillet de prise permettant le passage d'un doigt (voir par exemple Encyclopédie des Sciences Industrielles Quillet, Electricité-Electronique, Applications, Paris, 1973, p. 41, fig.
