Abstract

Dispositif (3) d'émission sans fil produisant un signal infrarouge et pouvant être réglé par un utilisateur ou un ordinateur (1) afin d'émettre un code particulier d'une pluralité de codes de canaux dans le signal à infrarouge avec n'importe quelle information de commande. Dans le mode de réalisation préféré, le dispositif (3) d'émission sans fil est commandé par un ordinateur personnel (1) afin de transmettre un code de canal et des informations de commande à un ou à plusieurs dispositifs périphériques (5, 6). Un récepteur (7) à infrarouge compatible associé à chacun des dispositifs périphériques est également réglable, soit par l'utilisateur soit par d'autres moyens, pour ne transmettre que des informations de commande au dispositif périphérique si le code de canal particulier émis par le dispositif d'émission est reconnu par le récepteur.
