- the atomizer construction has in normal operation acontinuous waterpressure while the nozzles are cleaned by periodical shut-off of the gas supply without the risk that the atomizer produces a squirt of not-atomized liquid in the atmosphere.

- nozzle holder (11) In this nozzle holder (11) is a nozzle (12) attached.
- the mouthpiece (13) reaches through air nozzle (5) of airspray head (4) when airspray head (4) is pushed back by spring (6).
- From the wall of nozzle (12) a part is taken away to form opening (14).
- cleaning needle (16) In the end (15) of nozzle (12) is cleaning needle (16) located.
- Cleaning needle (16) has a sliding fitting inside nozzle (12) and can move axial to position (17).
- Cleaning needle (16) is connected with piston rod (18) which is adjustable connected with screwpiece (19) to the piston (20).
- Piston (20) is pushed axial by piston spring (21) in the direction of nozzle (12).
- Piston spring (21) rests against spring holder (22) which is attached in cylinder (23).
- Spring holder (22) carries in a groove sealing ring (24) which provides a gastight seal between piston (20) and cylinder (23).
- Piston (20) fits with ample tolerance in cylinder (23"') which allows piston spring (21) in all cases to bring piston (20) in the rest position.
- housing (1) In housing (1) is provided for a seal (25) through which pistonred (18) can travel axially in housing (1) Housing (1) is provided with an air supply connection (26) that connects gas supply (3)with space (27) . Also in housing (1) is a connection (28)which connects space (27) with cylinder space (29). On the side of space (27) here is a sealing ring (30)mounted in a recess inside connection (28) that seals connection (28) with flange (9).
