Abstract
Bougie possédant une mèche (4), ainsi qu'un élément ignifuge (5) qui lui est fixé et dont le rapport entre sa longueur et sa largeur permet de le maintenir vertical dans la stéarine, pendant la combustion de la mèche au-dessus dudit élément. L'élément ignifuge est constitué, de préférence, par un manchon métallique (5) fixé à la partie inférieure de la mèche (4).
