Abstract

The invention concerns a handle (14) for walking or ski sticks (10), the handle being designed to carry advertising. The surface of the handle carries at least one publicity sign. This sign is formed by a shoulder on the moulded handle body (26) which is surrounded by a covering (28), the shoulder passing through the covering.

Description

Stick handle

The invention relates to a stick handle with an inner molded body and a grip jacket which surrounds it and is partially perforated, the inner molded body having an axial recess receiving a stick end piece and the surface of the stick handle being designed to be informative.

Stick handles for hiking or ski poles are known from DE-OS 22 29 116 and DE-GM 83 00 930 and also serve as advertising media. Trademarks or similar informational information are sprayed or glued onto the handle surface in corresponding contrasting colors.

The intensive use of appropriate layers of paint when handling the stick handle makes such information unsightly in a relatively short time, or it is completely removed by abrasion.

Starting from DE-GM 83 00 930, the object of the invention is to specify a stick handle which offers options for the informative design of its surface, which are characterized by resistance to wear.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the molded body penetrates the handle casing in the openings at least on the handle circumference and the stick end piece is held by the molded body. According to the invention, the shaped body thus also serves to design the handle surface by, for example, one or more molded-on, correspondingly shaped projections on the circumference of the shaped body penetrating the handle encasing and being visible on the handle surface. In this context, it goes without saying that the color contrast on the surface of the grip jacket which is necessary for the visual conveyance of corresponding information requires that the molded body and the grip jacket be kept in correspondingly different colors.

It is preferred to provide the protrusion (s) on the molded body circumference at least on one of its two long sides. In this area of the stick handle, appropriately memorable information can be placed on the stick handle in a space-favorable distribution.

The protrusion (s) can be recessed with respect to the handle surface. However, they preferably end with the outer circumferential surface of the grip jacket.

The part of the molded body penetrating the grip shell can be designed in the form of a letter, relief and / or letter, depending on how, for example, an optimal statement or configuration can be obtained on the surface of the grip shell from the point of view of advertising technology. In a preferred embodiment, the molded body forms an injection molded part which is encased in the grip casing and, for the purpose of relocating the grip casing, in addition to the protrusion (s) provided according to the invention, can also have protrusions and / or depressions on the outside which do not penetrate the grip casing.

The molded body advantageously consists of hard plastic, in particular polyamide, and the grip jacket consists of a material that is different from the molded body, an elastomer being particularly suitable, which makes it possible to design the grip surface to be non-slip.

The stick handle is preferably designed as a separately tradable object. Stick handles of this type are only pushed onto the end of the stick after they have been completed and attached to them. The variety of combinations of stick and handle is very large in this embodiment.

In Fig. 1, the upper end of a ski or hiking stick is designated 10, which is formed by a suitable metal tube 12 which carries a stick handle designated as a whole at 14 at the upper end. A wrist strap 16 is held at its upper end. The shape of the handle 14 is known per se.

The stick handle 14 also serves as an advertising medium in the present exemplary embodiment and, for this purpose, has visible, for example letter-shaped characters 18, 20, 22 and 24 on its two opposite longitudinal handle sides on the outside of the handle. These are kept in a contrasting, in particular bright, color to the color of the stick handle 14 in order to ensure good visibility. This, in particular advertising effective design of the outside of the handle is characterized by wear resistance and color fidelity, whereby these symbols 18 - 24 can also be of different colors.

The wear and color resistance of the characters 18-24 is achieved by the fact that they consist of a different material than the surface of the stick handle 14. This is made of two parts, namely an inner molded body 26 and a handle 28 which surrounds the entire surface thereof. The molded body 26 consists of a rigid plastic, preferably polyamide, which on its two longitudinal sides 30 and 32 has correspondingly shaped projections that form the characters 18-24. In contrast to the molded body 26, the grip jacket 28 is made of a comfortable, grip-friendly elastomer, preferably on a natural rubber base, which does not cover the characters 18-24. They preferably close off at the end with the outer surface 34 of the grip jacket 28 and are thus clearly visible. Corresponding projections of the molded body 26 can of course also be formed on its end faces or on its other peripheral surface parts.

As can be seen from FIG. 2, further projections 36 or depressions 38 are formed on the shaped body in order to give the elastomeric grip jacket on the shaped body a secure or stabilizing hold when the shaped body is encased.

In the case of projections 18 to 24 of different colors, correspondingly colored plastics are to be molded onto the molded body.

Stick handle with an inner molded body (26) and a handle jacket (28) that encloses it and is partially perforated, the inner molded body (26) having an axial recess that accommodates a stick end piece and the surface of the stick handle (14) is designed to be informative , characterized in that the molded body (26) passes through the handle casing (28) in the openings at least on the handle circumference and the stick end piece is held by the molded body (26).

2. Stick handle according to claim 1, characterized in that the at least one part (18 or 20 or 22 or 24) of the shaped body (26) passing through the handle casing (28) extends up to the outer peripheral surface (34) of the handle casing (28) .

3. Stick handle according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the part (18 or 20 or 22 or 24) of the shaped body (26) passing through the handle casing (28) is formed in the shape of a letter, relief or letter.

4. Stick handle according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shaped body (26) is an injection-molded part which has projections (36) on the outside and, if appropriate, depressions (38) and is encased by the grip casing (28).
