Abstract
L'invention concerne la reproduction sonore et vocale sur un ordinateur personnel (2) au moyen d'une interface parallèle (15) servant de voie de transmission. Les circuits de reproduction vocale et sonore (1) sont installés dans un boîtier de taille réduite dont les extrémités comportent deux connecteurs: un connecteur mâle 25 points (5) et un connecteur femelle (6). Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce que l'on utilise les signaux de la voie parallèle (15) sans perdre l'utilisation de la voie qui est normalement prévue pour imprimer les données de sortie de l'ordinateur. L'une des extrémités (5) du dispositif est raccordée à la sortie parallèle de l'ordinateur (2) et à l'autre extrémité (6) sortent inchangés les signaux et les données de l'interface parallèle (15). Les circuits électroniques du dispositif de reproduction sonore/vocale filtrent les données d'entrée (12) et, en contrôlant le format et les signaux de commande (11), déterminent si les informations sont du type vocal/sonore ou du type imprimé. Dans le premier cas, les circuits de conversion de données en signaux audio sont actionnés, tandis que dans le second cas, les données passent inchangées à l'imprimante (3) pour y être imprimées. La commutation entre les deux modes de fonctionnement se fait par la mise en ÷uvre, par l'intermédiaire de la machine, d'algorithmes de sécurité, lesquels empêchent toute perte d'informations, qu'elles soient du type vocal/sonore ou du type à imprimer. Le dispositif est muni de son propre bloc d'alimentation (16) et produit une sortie audio adaptée à un écouteur ou à un amplificateur (4).
