Definitions

  • the present inventio relates to readily transportable structural members for building a car parking house or the like.
  • car parking houses are commonly built essentially in the same manner as other buildings. Some structural members may be prefabricated, whereas other portions of the building structure are manufactured and shaped on the building site. This traditional manner of building car parking houses is time consuming and relatively expensive. Another dis ⁇ advantage may be that such a car parking house represents a permanent building, which cannot readily be removed or displaced without the necessity of tearing the building down, resulting in damage to or destruction of most of the structural members of the building. There may often be a demand for erecting a car parking house temporarily on a free site, which parking house is to be dismantled later and may then be erected somewhere else.
  • SE No. 435 198 discloses a storehouse or car parking house, which comprises a number of different structural elements and may be dismantled and remounted somewhere else.
  • the disadvantage of the building disclosed in the mentioned Patent Specification as well as of other proposed buildings, is that the number of building members is different and high, and that very careful and accurate planning is required due to the large number of structural members. Also, very accurate fit is required, and operations are time consuming both for mounting and dismantling.

  • Assemblage of the structural member, especially in the horizontal and inclined planes may be carried out in any conventional manner, and is, thus, not part of the present invention. It will, furthermore, be obvious that various designs of the floor plates of the structural members provides for many different combinations and variants in assembling the structural members. Maximum utilization of the shape of a building site will, e.g. be possible in this manner. This flexibility in assembling the structural members will, obviously, result in various kinds of car parking houses.
