Abstract

The system disclosed consists of a rigid hollow microcylinder of variable diameter and height ranging from 20 microns to 3 mm, made of a material chosen from the malleable metals and metal alloys, possibly patinated or tinted. The system can be used to determine the number of deracinated hairs and/or the distance of the microcylinder from the scalp and to calculate the percentage loss and/or regrowth of hair. The microcylinder (1), several hairs (2), the scalp (3), and the connecting thread (4) are shown.

Description

 Fixing system for capillary replacements and control for regrowth and hair loss.

This invention consists of a system for a stable and solid fixation of a hair replacement without any surgical intervention using the remaining hair of the person around the part to be covered.

The system according to the invention consists of a hollow, rigid micro-cylinder whose diameter as well as height can vary from 20 microns to 3 mm. The material used is chosen from metallic alloys and malleable metals such as copper, silver, gold, iron, etc.

It is preferable to skate or tint the micro-cylinders in order to mask their possible reflections and also to match their color to that of the hair.

A wick comprising about 50 hairs will pass in the middle of the tiny. cylinder whose diameter preferably does not exceed one mm approximately.

This micro-cylinder which surrounds this wick will be crushed just at the limit, and parallel to the scalp. We have two possibilities to make the connection between this base and the hair replacement. The whole wick crosses the micro-cylinder and the latter is crushed at the edge of the scalp, thereafter a thread knotted in the hair between this micro-cylinder and scalp will make the connection with the hair replacement. As Figure 1 illustrates. we notice the micro-cylinder (1), some hair (2), The scalp (3) the connecting wire (4). -This wick will pass in duplicate so once the micro-cylinder crushed we will have a ring of hair in the middle of which the connecting wire will pass and will make the fixing of the capillary replacement as the figure nº2 illustrates it, we notice the micro cylinder ( 1), some hair (2), the scalp (3) the connecting thread (4).

Between 15 to 30 micro-cylinders will be used around the part to be covered.

According to the regrowth of the person's hair, a maintenance of this fixation is possible, we renew the fixation by replacing the micro-cylinders.

The control of regrowth and hair loss is carried out by the following calculations:

Calculation of percentage of the fall: several micro-cylinders will be crushed on different areas and just at the edge of the scalp. After a few days, the number of uprooted hairs found in the micro-cylinders will make it possible to calculate the percentage of hair loss.

The calculation of hair regrowth:

Taking into account the number of days of this examination, the simple relationship of these with the distance of the micro-cylinders from the scalp determines hair regrowth.

 Claim
1- Fixing system for capillary replacements and hair regrowth control, characterized in that it consists of a hollow, rigid micro-cylinder whose diameter and height are variable and are between 20 microns and 3 mm. 2- System according to claim 1, characterized in that the micro-cylinder is made of a material chosen from metallic alloys and malleable metals, possibly: patinated or tinted.
3- A method of controlling a hair loss from the system according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it consists in determining after a certain number of days the number of uprooted hair which remains in the micro-cylinder by compared to the hair initially enclosed in said micro-cylinder and to define the percentage as a function of time by simple calculation.
4- A method of controlling hair regrowth from the system according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that it consists in measuring the distance of the micro-cylinders relative to the scalp after a determined time and evaluating the ratio time / distance.
