Abstract
Le procédé EL-EN 2000 pour l'amélioration de la qualité de l'alimentation en énergie électrique repose sur l'équipement des réseaux d'alimentation en énergie électrique avec des transformateurs régulateurs de tension ou stabilisateurs de tension. Ils permettent de stabiliser à sa valeur nominale la tension des réseaux, caractérisée actuellement par son instabilité, ces réseaux étant affectés par des surtensions, des pointes de surtension et des variations de tension provoquées par les charges alternatives. Outre la suppression de divers problèmes sérieux, on obtient ainsi, avec le même taux de consommation que jusqu'à présent, une économie d'énergie électrique au niveau de tous les appareils électriques installés et en service. L'importance de cette économie d'énergie électrique est de l'ordre de grandeur du carré de la surtension par rapport à la tension nominale du réseau. Le procédé EL-EN 2000 peut être mis en oeuvre par étapes et produit son effet maximum dès l'étape I, qui correspond à l'installation des transformateurs régulateurs de tension ou stabilisateurs de tension immédiatement en amont des consommateurs d'énergie électrique.
