Abstract

Dans l'appareil et le procédé de chirurgie au laser décrits, une énergie laser, pulsée ou continue, est focalisée sur un point foyer (FS) de quelqes microns situé sur un tissu ou similaire pour produire un accroissement de température extrêmement localisé. Le rayonnement pulsé est en mode TEM(oo), a une longueur d'onde d'environ 1064 nanamètres, les impulsions ne dépassant pas 100 nanosecondes et la cadence des impulsions étant environ de 2000 par seconde. Lorsqu'il est continu ou pulsé, le faisceau laser a une longueur d'onde d'environ 1400 à 1800 nanomètres ou, en modes photo-ablatifs, de 190 à environ 300 nanomètres. Le point foyer (FS) peut être amené à se déplacer par rapport à l'axe d'une pièce à main (40) qui délivre l'énergie laser au corps.
