Abstract

Un fil électrique comprend un conducteur électrique métallique, une couche minérale isolante formée par électrolyse sur le conducteur à partir d'un silicate en couches ayant subi un clivage chimique, ainsi qu'une couche de revêtement constituant un isolant polymère présentant une surface interne contenant un matériau dont la matière carbonisée résiduelle n'est pas supérieure à 15 % en poids et est de préférence sensiblement égale à 0 % en poids. Les fils ayant un isolant dont la matière carbonisée résiduelle est relativement faible sont à même de satisfaire aux tests d'intégrité de circuit, tels que du type IEC 331 dans lequel le câble est maintenu à une température de 900°C.
