Abstract

The machine employs two synchronous operating assemblies fitted on extensible uprights (1 and 2) which are available in battery, parallel to the part of wall to plaster and to fix by pressure to the ceiling as well as to the pavement. The operating assembly consists of a truck (9) engaged in a longitudinal guide of the upright (1), bearing a motor assembly (11) which, by means of gears on a rack (12), allows the truck up and down movement. The above truck (9) bears an arm (13) running with it and carrying a further motor (14) acting on a worm gear for extending one of its parts (15) on coaxial guides. The extensible ends (15) of the arm bear a horizontal shaft (18) blocking layers (16) and, on this shaft, a second slanting shaft (22) is fitted. This last shaft (22) is movable and supported by a pair of jacks carrying a layer (20).

Description

"Plastering machine".
The invention is referred to a machine driven by an electric motor and which carries out automatically the conventional slecked coating, such as sheathing and other, by acting on the material already present on the wall. The machine is decomposable and, consequent ly, can be easily transported by a person and mounted in position for prompt employ essentially with hand practicability for stabiliz ing and blocking its parts.
For carrying out these wall coatings, at present vertical bands are at first carried out at intervals with constant thickness, to perform as leaning collations, then the product is thrown in different ways in the intermediate spaces or is levelled by smoothing with a shaft operated by hand. These operations are carried out exclusively by master masons: if the operation is not carried out with the required skill, in fact, the thickness deformities which can be not ed on the bands are determining unlevelled surfaces. Furthermore the execution of these operations requires considerable time, because the projection of the product on the wall is carried out by means of a manual tool and, in addition, the levelling of the wall must be constantly tested with verticality checking means.
The machine according to the present invention enables to carry out the above operations even by a not specialized worker and considerably reduces the working times. This is possible because after having thrown the product on the wall with a conventional lance, the product is automatically levelled with only one sequen ce on a length of the wall by a device which operates in constant levelling condition. In this way, when the machine has been mount ed in working position and the relevant controls have been adjust ed, the coating is carried out with automatic sequences. Substantially the machine consists of two synchronously working assemblies fitted on extendable uprights which are available in battery and parallel to the wall to treat, by fixing their feet by pressu re on the pavement and to the ceiling. The operating assembly con sists of a bearing upright on a truck engaged in a longitudinal guide, of a motor assembly which, by means of a rack, allows its up and down movements. The said truck holds an arm which is ortho gonal to the upright bearing an additional motor acting on a warm screw for its extension on coaxial guides. The exterdible ends of the two arms bear a horizontal shaft on imposing parts equipped with blocking means; on this shaft, another shaft insists which is in a slanting position, supported and moved by a part of jacks fitt ed on the extensible parts of the arms using imposers with blocking means. For starting operation, the machine is fitted in position on the lenght of the wall to treat, the two operating assembli es are singularly fitted by means of the cranks for extending the filling feet, and the verticality is checked by means of the levels fitted on the device, and this one is then blocked in position; the levelling assembly is now mounted by blocking its two components in the imposers. The upper shaft acts as a pressure conveyer of the product on the levelling lines determined by the lower shaft: this assures the levelled compacting of the material on the wall.
An execution form is illustrated in an indicative way by the drawings of tables 1 and 2. With reference to these ones, fig. 1 is the perspective view of the machine already prepared with levelling assembly which will be brought down to a lower limit for start ing the operation; the length of wall can be noted on which the ma chine operates, as well as the extendible feet of the uprights which ensures the machine fixed between the floor and the ceiling. Fig. 2 is the back view of the machine according to the previous drawing. Fig. 3 is the view from above, whereas fig. 4 is the side view in operation phase. Fig. 5 is the view of an upright length to show the levels and the controls.
The version foresees the uprights 1 and 2 with coaxial extensibility in both senses with feet 3, 4 and 5, 6 to control by hand through the crank pair 7 acting on device fitted with worms. The stabilization in vertical sense can be regulated by means of the level pair 8. Each upright supports a truck 9 engaged in longitudinal guide 10 sustaining a motor assembly 11 which, by means of a gear on rack 12, allows its up and down movements. Truck 9 brings the connected arm 13 supporting a second motor assembly 14 for the extensibility on coaxial guides of part 15 of the said arm by means of a worm device. The extendible part 15 brings the horizontal shaft 18 on top of imposer 16 with blocking screw 17. On this part 15, jack 19 is brought which supports the compacting shaft 22 with pressure blocking means 21. For working, the levelling assembly is adjusted by means of the two jacks 19 supporting the compacting shaft, and the assembly is brought into position by means of the motor assemblies 14 which regulate the straddle. A trial movement is then carried out to check whether the machine is suited for the operation, and the automatic control 23 is engaged to stop the movement at the upper travel limit by means of control 24. With the hydraulic pump lance, the compound, such as "scagliola" coating or other, is brought on the wall length to treat, and the control 23 is switched on from above, with control 25 in automatic sequence, bringing the levelling assembly down to the lower limit.
The operation can be carried out with advancing levelling group in continuous motion and constant upward speed.
The position of the machine can be easily displaced and trasported since it consists of four independent parts that can be reduced.
The components of the two operation assemblies and the levelling one, as well as the movement and regulation organs, can be foreseen in different ways.
