The upper form 5 is pressed against the lower form 3 in. accordance with Figure 3, when the plastic mass is squeezed into the shape of the form at the same time filling the gaps between the fibres in the backing strip and thus the solid plastic backing strip 6 is formed.

Abstract

Dans les éléments de brosse actuels, on fixe les fibres de la brosse à des bandes de support métalliques. Celles-ci sont de construction lourde, présentent un mauvais équilibre, et s'ouvrent parfois lors de l'utilisation de la brosse, de telle sorte que les fibres se détachent de la partie de support. Dans le procédé de fabrication de la présente invention, la section de cadre est formée de plastique de telle façon qu'une bande de plastique fondue (3) est vaporisée sur le dessus du ruban où sont fixées les fibres et une longueur prédéterminée de la préforme ainsi obtenue est comprimée entre les formes (4 et 5), ce qui permet d'obtenir un plateau de brosse en plastique solide, de construction durable, légère et parfaitement dimensionnée.
