Kreissägekopf zum Absägen der Seitenware von Baum¬ stämmen mit einem inneren Kreissägeblatt und einem dazu im Abstand angeordneten, äußeren Kreissägeblatt, denen jeweils auf der dem Baumstamm abgekehrten Seite ein Fräser mit am Umfang angeordneten Fräserschneiden zugeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der dem inneren Kreissägeblatt (1) zugeordnete Fräser (2) als Käfig ausgeführt ist, der an seiner Stirnseite das in¬ nere Kreissägeblatt (1) trägt, und daß der stirnseitig das äußere Kreissägeblatt (7) tragende innere Fräser (8) im Inneren des käfigartigen Fräsers (2) axial verstell¬ bar angeordnet ist und durch eine zentrische öffung (9) des inneren Kreissägeblattes (1) ragt.1.
