Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hydraulically driven universal plunger pump and agitator which can be driven and operated from any optional energy source and which is well suitable for forwarding liquids of different density also containing solid (dry vegetable) substances. Due to the structural design danger of obturation can be reduced to the minimum, it can be easily moved and arranged in the fluid to be pumped, furtheron, hydraulic drive can be connected to the energy source without any difficulty.
  • the equipment forming the object of the invention can be most advantageously used in agriculture for lifting and delivering sewage of increased density, slurries, sludges or manure. Owing to the hydraulic drive the plunger pump can be actuated from any energy source having been constructed with a hydraulic system, while its agitator homogenized the fluid to be pumped.
  • So-called sewage pumps with a vertically arranged pump shaft are frequently used.
  • the pump of the Swedish company FLYGT and the type produced by the West-German company WILO are similar to the technical solution of the hydraulically driven universal plunger pump according to the invention.
  • These types of pumps used to be driven with an electromotor which is built into the pumping head dipped in the water are similar to the technical solution of the hydraulically driven universal plunger pump according to the invention.
  • the drawback of these solutions lies in that their use is bound to the existence of a current source, a properly built mains is required. Investments costs are high.
  • Plunger pumps of the type VTSZ-200 and ASZ-300 are also known. Their disadvantageous feature lies in that they cannot be operated from a universal energy source, at the same time their scope of operation is restricted by the density of the fluid to be pumped, practically they can be used only for the delivery of high-liquid media, obturation often occurs, resulting in technical difficulties.
  • the aim of our invention is to eliminate said deficiencies and to develop an improved plunger pump, which is operating with a far better efficiency, than the known solutions.
  • a further task of the invention lies in to develop the drive of the plunger pump as well as to achieve improved operation in the fluid to be pumped.
  • the invention is based on the recognition, in so far as, the task set can be solved, if the drive of the plunger pump is rendered independent of the mains and simultaneously the inhomogenous fluid of changing density to be pumped is homogenized.
  • the aim set has been achieved in accordance with the invention by means of the plunger pump described in the preamble in such a manner that there is an agitator periodically homogenizing the fluid to be pumped, simultaneously the pump and the agitator are provided with hydraulic motors 2.
  • pumping head is provided with distance pieces attached to a flange 8, with a whirl-chamber 10 fixed to the distance pieces 9 and thereto a bearing block 11 is connected in a releasable manner.
  • a bearing block 11 is connected in a releasable manner.
  • the shaft 12 led rotatably, arranged; to one end of said shaft a co-axially arranged, a pump blade disc 13 is releaseably fixed, while to the other end of said shaft, co-axially therewith, a finned sleeve 14 is fixed realizing the connection with a hydraulic motor.
  • At least two pumping heads of the plunger pump are fixed to a common flange 8, and in the confining pumping heads pump blade discs connected to a common whirl chamber 10 and driven with hydraulic motors 2 with opposite sense of rotation are arranged.
  • the equipment according to the invention contains a plunger pump and an agitator and by means of the latter one the fluid to be pumped is periodically homogenized. Similarly to the pump the agitator is driven by its own hydraulic motor. By the periodical use of the agitator obturation problems connected to the inhomogeneous fluid to be pumped can be well eliminated. Hydraulic motors of the plunger pump and agitator can be operated from the same energy source. In the period of homogenization the agitator is put into operation by means of the reversing switch having been built into the hydraulic circle, in such a manner obturation of the pump can be avoided.
  • the hydraulic pipes between the driving hydraulic partial unit and the plunger pump provide for connection; overbridging of distances of 30 to 40 m becomes also possible.
  • Automatized embodiment of the drive between the driving hydraulic unit and the plunger pump-agitator is properly protecting the rotating parts of the construction. So e.g. if a solid body which cannot be homogenized arrives at the pump head, at a pre-determined overload rotary motion of the pump blade disc arranged in the pump heads can be stopped by means of a relieving valve.
  • the hydraulic partial unit can be driven from any type of energy source.
  • Figure 1 is showing the schematic arrangement of the plunger pump and the agitator with the hydraulic part and the energy source
  • Figure 2 is the front view of the plunger pump according to the invention, partly in section;
  • FIG. 3a and 3b the front and top view of the plunger pump according to the invention

  • Figure 6 schematic arrangement and electric connections with a preferred embodiment of the plunger pump and agitator according to the invention.
  • FIG. 2 illustrates the front view of the plunger pump 1 according to the invention, partly in section.
  • Suction head of the plunger pump 1 is provided with the distance pieces 9 fixed onto the flange 8 and with a whirl space 10 fixed onto the distance pieces 9; thereto a bearing block 11 is connected in a releasable manner (a screwed connection).
  • a rotatably led shaft is arranged, wherein to one end of said shaft a co-axially arranged pump blade disc is fixed with a releasable bond (a keyed joint), while to the other end of said shaft, co-axially therewith, a finned sleeve 14 is fixed establishing connection with the hydraulic motor 2.
  • a patent arc 21 is connected to the whirl chamber 10 ensuring tangential and flexible connection.
  • At least two suction heads are fixed onto a common flange 8 and in the confining suction heads there are the pump blade discs 13 connected with the whirl chamber 10 and driven by the hydraulic motors 2 with an opposite sense of rotation arranged.
  • the pump blade disc 13 In dependence of the consistency of the medium 6 to be pumped the pump blade disc 13 is operated within the range of nymber of revolutions between rpm 250 and rpm 3000.
  • FIG 4 the front view of the pump blade disc 13 of the plunger pump 1 according to the invention is to be seen, partly in a sectional view.
  • FIG 5 a schematic view of the agitator according to the invention is given, showing the front and sideview, partly in section.
  • the agitator consists of the bearing block 31, of the shaft having been arranged co-axially with the symmetry axis, of the screw blade 16 having been fixed with a releasable bond (key joint) to one end of the shaft, of the labyrinth sealing 17 between the screw blade 16 and the bearing block 11, of the finned sleeve 32 connecting the other end of the shaft to the hydraulic motor 2, of the tire IS arranged centrally around the symmetry axis of the screw blade, as well as of the radially arranged rods 19 interconnecting the rim 18 and the bearing block.
  • angular position of the locking clamp 20 surrounding the bearing block 11 can be adjusted for homogenizing periodically the fluid to be pumped ( homogenization lasting 10 to 15 minutes, performed in 4 hours intervals is to be considered as advantageous).
  • the hydraulically driven universal plunger pump and the agitator can be used in clear water or in dense liquids with a high dry substance content ( 8 to 12 %), as well as for the delivery of slurries, manure, biogas basic materials, paper-pulp, different concentrates in canneries, intermediate products in the chemical industry etc.
  • FIG 6 a preferred embodiment of the aforementioned apparatuses, i.e. fixed, portable or automatic version thereof, is to be seen, showing the schematic arrangement and electrical connections.
  • the recipient 22 for hydraulic oil with the hydraulic partial unit 4 hydraulic oil is supplied through the magnet-filter 23 at a pressure of 100 to 160 bar into the hydraulic cycle via an inserted stream regulating valve 24.
