Abstract

A prefabricated synthetic strip provided with perpendicular grooves, producing a resonant warning when vehicles are passing by is adhered preferably with hot asphaltic bitumen to the surface layer of the road, in a groove milled between the traffic lane and the stop band or cycle track. Said perpendicular grooves have a rectangular cross-section with lower rounded angles. The resonant strip, preferably made of thermoplastic synthetic material, has a lower carrier part with a V-shaped cross-section; its bottom portion is reinforced by a steel wire weaving. The resonant strip has also a layer with perpendicular grooves, fused with the carrier part and containing a filler of hard and friction-resistant material. The material of the resonant strip may contain white pigments and the upper layer may contain light-reflecting granular elements.

Description

D r ö h n s t r s i f e n a u t o b a h n e n. D r ö h n s t r s i f e n a u t o b a h n e n.
The invention relates to a drone strip in place of the existing border line on highways and excessive roadway limitations. With this droning streak, the inventor wants to make an important, and at the same time, permanent contribution to traffic safety, primarily on motorways. With a specially built machine, a plastic groove-based transverse groove strip is installed flush with the top of the road surface. This transverse groove strip has the task: 1.) To generate a strong roar inside the car when driving with the tires, and at the same time to cause a slight vibration, for example to wake up the driver asleep in good time before an accident occurs. 2.) The boundary line to improve the required meaning and importance. 3.) To provide increased protection for people and vehicles on the breakdown lane, for example the motorway police, breakdown assistance and general maintenance service. 4.) In the rest of the street network, where cyclist lanes are only delimited by a yellow line, there would be fewer cyclist accidents. Cyclists also demand greater safety as long as they still have to share the lanes with excessive traffic. It is hard to imagine our motorways without them, so they must be able to guarantee the necessary traffic safety for the user.
