  • This invention relates to a bottom discharge device, especially for vehicles intended to preferably carry dry fine- grained material, which device comprises a discharge door and means for moving the door between a closed and an open position, or vice versa.
  • the discharge doors were constructed to be opened outward. This involves problems of sealing the doors against the bottom portion of the vehicle. By leakage occurring during the transport, serious inconveniencies arise due to the dust, which forms of the dry fine- grained material and penetrates everywhere. This results in substantial dirt accumulation which, of course, deteriorates still more the sealing function of the doors.

Abstract

Dispositif de dechargement par le fond (2), notamment pour vehicules (1) destines au transport de materiaux constitues de particules fines et seches. Dans les dispositifs connus de ce type, le materiau transporte fuit par les portes de dechargement. Le materiau etant finement divise et sec, il se forme de la poussiere, ce qui presente de nombreux inconvenients. La presente invention a pour objet de prevoir un dispositif de dechargement par le fond (2) dans lequel la fuite du materiau est eliminee. Ce resultat est obtenu par le fait que les portes de dechargement (9) s'appuient de haut en bas sur les bords de l'orifice de dechargement. Les bords de l'orifice de dechargement sont de preference munis de bandes formant joint (17a, 17b), bandes contre lesquelles s'appuient les bords des portes de facon etanche. Le materiau transporte appuyant sur les portes vers le bas et les pressant contre les bords de l'orifice, le dispositif est etanche per se.
