Abstract
La invención define una composición para uso agrícola que comprende un principio activo que consiste en una mezcla de oligómeros de ácido galaturónico, en los que el número de unidades de ácido galacturónico varía entre 1 y 10. Asimismo, la invención define un procedimiento para preparar dicha composición y un método de aplicación de la misma. Esta composición induce y estimula los mecanismos de defensa en las plantas frente a los daños causados por patógenos (estrés biótico) y por sequía, altas y bajas temperaturas, salinidad, metales pesados, radiaciones ultravioleta, acidez del suelo, etc. (estrés abiótico). Esta composición, además, activa mecanismos que producen el desarrollo vegetativo, promoviendo una mejora general en la vegetación y salubridad de los cultivos, con muy bajo o nulo impacto ambiental.
