Secuencias de nucleótidos aisladas mutadas mediante inserción que codifican una proteína oleato desaturasa truncada de girasol, una proteína truncada , métodos, procedimientos y usos. Las secuencias de nucleótidos aisladas comprenden una inserción que incluye un codón de parada, y en donde las secuencias codifican una proteína oleato desaturasa truncada de girasol. La proteína oleato desaturasa truncada de girasol puede ser por ejemplo, la secuencia que se muestra en SEQ ID No:1 o SEQ ID No:2.
