Abstract

Se describe un papel para impresión por chorro de tinta que incorpora carbonato de calcio precipitado ("CCP") deshidratado y molido. El carbonato de calcio precipitado se deshidrata y muele en presencia de un dispersante anfótero o aniónico para producir una composición de CCP de alto contenido en sólidos. Cuando se utiliza en formulaciones de recubrimienito, el CCP tiene una morfología y química superficial que mejora la calidad de impresión del papel para chorro de tinta. El papel para impresión por chorro de tinta que incorpora el CCP de la presente invención presenta un nivel de biselado y derramamiento reducido así como también una mejor densidad óptica, un mejor tiempo de secado y una mejor solidez al agua.
