Abstract

Comedero para aves de corral que comprende en tubo de alimentación dispuesto en sentido sustancialmente vertical adaptado para su instalación en un tubo de transporte de alimento sustancialmente horizontal para recibir el alimento de éste último. El tubo de alimentación tiene una porción superior fija con respecto al tubo de transporte de alimento y una porción inferior que se mueve axialmente con respecto a la porción superior entre una posición extendida y una posición caída. Una bandeja de alimento se encuentra dispuesta por debajo del extremo inferior del tubo de alimentación para recibir el alimento. Se provee una conexión con juego entre la bandeja de alimento y el tubo de alimentación, incluyendo dicha conexión un reborde dispuesto en sentido sustancialmente vertical que rodea la porción externa de la bandeja de alimento y permite el movimiento relativo entre la bandeja de alimento y el tubo de alimentación desde una posición extendida en la cual el tubo de alimentación desde una posición extendida y en la cual el reborde se extiende por encima del nivel de la bandeja para ayudar con la contención del alimento dentro de la bandeja se apoya sobre el piso y en la cual el reborde está más abajo que el nivel de la bandeja, permitiendo que los pollos jóvenes vean fácilmente el alimento depositado dentro de la bandeja y accedan al mismo.
