DESIGN FOR A NECKLACE.

Specification forming part of Design No. 9,883, dated April 3, i877; application filed March 13, 1877. [Term of Patent 3} years.]

To all whom it may concern.

Be it known that I, GEORGE F. GLEASON, of Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and original Design for a Necklace, of which the following is a specification:

I The nature of my design is fully shown in the accompanying illustration, to which reference is made.

, The invention relates to an ornamental and stylish design for necklace and other articles;

color, while the raised rim b and a raised center ornament, d, of each leaf is polished brightly, so as to stand out effectively from the yellowish ground, and give thereby a neat and pleasing appearance.

I claim as my invention-- 1. The design for a necklace or other article, composed of links in the form of acute or tapering leaves, with a rounded-01f protruding portion at the wider end, opposite the pointed end, substantially as shown and described.

2. The design for a link for necklace or other articles, made in the form of an acute or tapering leaf, with rounded-elf and protruding portion at the wider end, and with stippled ground and raised polished rim and center ornamentation, substantially as shown and described.
