DESEGN FOR CENTER-PIECE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 9,390, dated July 11, 1876; application filed June 26,1876. [Term of Patent- 14 years.]
To all ta /mm it may concern:
Be it known that I, SAMUEL KELLETT, of the city and COIHIQ' of San Francisco, State of California, have invented it new and original Design for a (jenterlieee, of which the following is a specification The invention is illustrated in the aeeompe nying: photograph, representing a face view of my design.
The design consists of four leading figures, with n head-molding separating the ligures, and interseeling' \vithu eireularbead that surrounds the forms. Each figure is shieldlilte in form. A rnised oval figure in the center is embellished on the sides with leaves flowing outward.
Trieugular mised panels occupy spaces hetween the headmoldings. A drop, in herinony with the plain moldings, oops the (zen ter of the design. A raised bond orfillet, curring at a, quarter distance of the eirele, with a small leaf between the curve, surrounds the bead-moldin The outer forms are composed of scrolled fillets, finished with leaves on the outer edge; stems and flowers on plain ground u bended stem with round terminal between leaves. Between the turned ends of the scrolls e figure is placed, leaved on the inner portion, tourhing the bead moldin The outer end of the figure represents leaves and fruit resting on u scalloped and engraved hose or ground.
The letter A designates shield-like figures leeved on sides; 8, triangular panels; Ll,drop of center-piece; I), hand or fillet; 1*] l9, scrolled fillets; F F, leaves on outer edge G, stern and seed like teuuinnl; H, figure between scrolled ends of fillets.
