Be it known that I, MIRUM SULZBACIIER, oi the city, county, and State of New York, have originated and designed a new Pattern for Arm-Chairs, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing or photographic illustration, making part of this specification.

The characteristic features of my design are the peculiar headset the front legs, hind legs, cross-braces, and arnrpieces, which impart to these parts a bamboo-like appearance; also, the peculiar shape and ornamentation of the arm pieces, as hereinafter more fully described.
In the drawing, the letter A designates the seat of my arm-chair, which is supported by the front legs B and the hind legs (3, said legs being connected to each other by the cross-braces I). From the side pieces E of the back-frame extend the arm-pieces F. All these parts are ornamented by beads a, which are so shaped and distributed that they impart to the wood a bamboelike appearance. The arm-pieces F are ornamented by an outward curve, b, near their rear ends, and the front portions of said arm-pieces are curved downward, and ornamented by finting's c.
