Be it known that I, ROBERT ALLAN, of the city of Yonkers, lcounty of Westchester and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwronght into Ingrain and other Gac peting, in colors similary to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith 5 and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a detined CARPETS.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration ot' the design hereunto annexed when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specilcation.
