To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JOHN H. SMITH, of Enfield, Hartford county, Connecticut, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs aecompa-nying this specication, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specication do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a delined and thorough description JOHN H.
