Be it known that I, JOHN H. SMITH, of Enfield, Hartford county, and State of Conneoteut, have invented or produced n new and original Design for a Pattern to be inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawing or photogra ph accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawing or photograph herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawing aecompanyin g this specification does give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a defined and thorough deliitnesses:
