Specification forming part of Design No. 6,610, dated April 22, 1873; application filed April 11, 1873.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, JOHN H. SMITH, of Enfield, county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain andother Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawing or photograph accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawing or photograph herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification does give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetwcaving a defined and thorough description JOHN H.- SMITH.
