DESIGN FOR A DRAWER FOR SEWING-MACHINE CABINETS.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N 0. 35,804, dated March 11, 1902.

Application filed November 12, 1901. Serial No. 82,058. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, THEODOR KUNDTZ, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lakewood, in the county of Guyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design foraDrawerforSewing- Machine Cabinets and other Furniture Having Drawers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

Figure I is a view in perspective of a drawer, showing my new design. Fig. II is a top plan of the drawer. Fig. III is a bottom plan of the drawer. Fig. IV is a rear end elevation of the drawer.

Referring to the drawings, a designates the inner side wall of the drawer; b, the outer side wall; 0, the rear end wall; cl, the forward end wall, and e the bottom of the drawer. The forward end wall d curves, as at 8, outwardly and toward the outer side wall b,whieh curves inwardly,as at 9,along the greater portion of its length between the end walls 0 and d, and the drawer is rounded, as at 10, at the junction of the outer side wallb and rear end wall 0. The inner side wall a is provided upon its outer surface and centrally witha projection 12, which extends longitudinally of the said side wall and has two tongues 13 and 14 formed at the top and bottom, respectively, of the said projection 12 and extending longitudinally of the drawer.

The inner side wall of the drawer is plain, and upon its outer side, at the forward end of the projection 12, has a rearwardly-facing sur face 6.

The leading and characteristic and essential features of my design consists of the unitary design shown in the illustration and comprising the curving of the forward end wall of the drawer outwardly and toward the outer side wall, the curving of the said side wall inwardly along the greater portion of its length between the end walls, and the round ing of the drawer at the junction of the said side wall with the rear end wall.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for a drawer as herein shown and described.
