DESIGN FOR. A. TABLE-KNIFE.
The Schedule referred to in these .better/l Patent and making part of the same.
To 'all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, B. RAVEN, of' Pleasantville, in the county of' Venango, and State of Pennsylvania., have invented a new and improved Design for Table- Knife; and I do hereby declare that the following is. a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable othersskilled in the art to make and use the sinne, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification.
This invention relates to a new and ornamental design for the form of table or other knives.
The drawing represents a view of n. table-knife constructed in the form of my improved design.
Between the bolster A and heel B of the blade, I introduce a curved neck, 0, preferably oi' oval form on the top, B, where the fore-linger of the hand will naturally press, when cutting.
The curvature of the neck continues to some extent beyond the junction of the latter with the heel lof the blade, giving the bit of the blade a forward set, ornamental in form and appearance, and useful in cutting.
