To all whom it may concern:
Beit known that I, LOUISA WOHLTMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing in the borough of Manhattan, city of New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Souvenir-Plate, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
This invention relates to designs for souvenir-plates.
The accompanying drawing shows a front view of my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in a center disk A, having a raised circumferential rim B, on which are raised beads 0. Above the center diskA is arranged a crossbar of an anchor D with an eye E. Upon this upper part of the anchor are two links F, and on said bar D are four bands G. Below the center disk A is the lower part 'of an anchor H, on which are three links I. Around the center disk A is a horseshoe J, at the top of which is a raised toe K, and at the bottom of said horseshoe are raised heels L. In each side of the horseshoe J is a groove M, extending from the toe K down each side of said horseshoe, and in each of said grooves M are four depressions N to represent the holes for the nails of the said horseshoe J. Immediately around the rim l3 and on the said horseshoe J is ornamental raised work 0, and on said horseshoe J is a suitable place for any desirable words P.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, isv The design for a souvenir-plate as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
