DESIGN FOR AN ANNEALlNG-BOX BOTTOM.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,367, dated October 16, 1900.
Application filed August 21, 1900. Serial No. 27,625. Term of patent 14 years To It whom it may concern.-
lte it known that LWILLIAM S. BUMBAUGH, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Monessen, in the county of Testnoreland and State of Pennsylvania, have in vented a certain new and useful Design for an Annealing-Box Bottom; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which forma part of this specification.
Figure 1 is a sectional side elevation of an annealing-box bottom, showing my new design, the said section taken on the line .r .2" of Fig. 2. Fig. 5. is an inverted plan view of a portion of the same, showing the form and location of the legs or supports.
As shown in the drawings, the leading; or material feature of my design consists of the box or pan 1, having side walls Qand a series of legs or feet formed integral with the box 1 and on the under side thereof. Each of the legs 3 at the four corners of the bottom is in the form of a frnstnm of a cone, the large diameter being uppermost and each having a web extending from the base upward at or about an angle of forty-five degrees to the corners of the bottom and the said webs arranged diagonally with the said bottom. Placed intermediate of the corner-legs 3 and in line therewith are similar legs or feet 5, formed or shaped identical, except that The web of each is set parallel with the sides of the bottom. The central leg (3 consists of a frnstum of a cone, the large diameter being upward. Each of the above-described legs is of the same length and its base on the same plane.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for an annealing-box bottom, as herein shown and described.
