DESIGN FOR A WRENCH.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,540, dated May 21, 1901. Application filed April l5, 1901. Serial No. 56,013. Term of patent 7 years' To a/ZZ whom, it may concern:
Beit known that'I, FRANK H. ENGSTROM, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cambridge Springs, in the county of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for Wrenches; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appert-ains to make and use the saine.
In the drawings, Figure l is a side View of the wrench. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the wrench. Fig. 3 is a cross-section through the sockets of the Wrench. Fig. 4 is a cross-section through the handle.
The leading or material features of the design consist of a circular head containing at one end a large hexagonal socket, an Octagonal socket at its other end of smaller size than the large socket and tapered at one end Where it joins onto the large socket, and a handle having a cylindrical end portion and a portion oval in cross-section and joining the cylindrical portion to the said head.
A is the circular head.
B is the large hexagonal socket.
C is the octagonal socket, which is smaller than the socket B and which has a tapering portion c at one end Where it joins onto the socket C.
D is thecylindrical end portion of the handle, and d is the portion ot' the handle which is oval in cross-section and which joins the portion D to the head A.
What I claim is- The design for a Wrench, as herein shown and described.
