To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALBERT PFEIFER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Little Rock, in the county of Pulaski and State of Arkansas, haveinvented and produced anew and original Design for a Watch-Charm and Kindred Articles of Jewelry; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
This invention relates to a design for watchcharms and analogous articles of jewelry, such as hat-pins, brooches, cuEE-louttons, scarf-pins, and the like, the purpose being to provide an ornament of unique and novel appearance.
In the drawings, which are substantially a facsimile of the design, Figure 1 is a perspective view of the design. Fig. 2 is a reverse perspective view. Fig. Sisarear view. Fig.
4 is a section on the line 4 4 of Fig. 3.
The essential features of the design are spaced bars joined at their ends and at a point between their ends, one of the bars being substantially straight and of approximately triangular shape in cross-section and the other bar being outwardly deflected between its endsand flatin cross-section and transversely inclined to the plane of the bars and heads at the ends of the bars, one of the heads having its outer side composed of alternate ridges and valleys and the other head being noduled;
The design, as shown, consists of the bars 1 and 4, heads 2 and 3, and the connection 5. The bar 1 is approximately straight and of triangular form in cross-section. The bar 4 is spaced from the bar 1 and is bent outward between its ends and is flat and inclined transversely to the plane of the bars. The connection 5 has a conical profile and spans the space formed between the bars 1 and 4. The head 3 is formed with alternate ridges and valleys, and the head 2 is noduled.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is The design for a watch-charm or analogous article of jewelry, substantially as herein shown and described.
