DESIGN FOR A WATCH-CHARM, 80c.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,857, dated December 11, 1894.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE E. RHODES, a citizen of the Un' ed States,and a resident of Shreveport, in the parish of Caddo and State of Louisiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Watch-Charms or Pendant Ornaments or Lockets for Watch- Chains, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, illustrating the same.
In the drawing my design is illustrated in a perspective viewshowing a watch charm or locket having the particular ornamentation hereinafter described, the whole constituting my invention.
The distinguishing characteristic of my design resides in the peculiar monograznmatic and other ornamentation of a locket or charm as represented in the accompanying drawing and described in the present specification.
Referring to the drawing, A denotes the body of the locket. This is made rectangular in shape as shown, and the corners are provided with the ornamental pieces B shaped and constructed as represented in the drawmg.

0 indicates a central ornamentation on the side of the locket, the same consisting in a monogram composed of the letters T P A of the form shown in the drawing and entwined in the manner represented.
D is the representation of a handle applied to the side edge of the locket above the monogram.
E indicates an ornamentation representing a catch or fastening for the locket, and F denotes a line indicating the real or a supposed meeting point forthe two halves of the locket.
Having thus fully described my configuration or design, what I claim to have invented and produced, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
