DESIGN FOR A CASING FOR DOOR-CHECKS.
SFECEIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 32,993, dated July 24, 1900; Application filed April 6, 1900. Serial No.11,903. Term ofpatent14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WARREN II. TAYLOR, of Stamford, Fairfield county, State of onnecticnt, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Casing for Door- Checks, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a partthereof.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a side elevation; Fig. 2, a top plan view, and Fig. 3 an end elevation illustrating my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in a horizontally-disposed cylindrical body, a vertically-disposed cylindrical body on top of the horizontal body, and an opening or hole in the wall of the vertical body.
A represents the horizontal cylindrical body, and B the vertical body, disposed on top of the same and midway between the ends thereof, said vertical body having a depression 1 on its front face at its lower end to merge into and conform to the contour of the horizontal body and provided near its upper end with an opening or hole 2. The horizontal body is provided on its upper face to one side of the vertical bodywith a raised portion 3, on which is disposed a cylindrical enlargement 4. On each side of the upright body B and on top of the horizontal body A and in a plane approximately in alinement with the rear edge of both is provided flanged portions 7, having curvilinear outlines and provided with holes 8, as shown, and the upper end of the upright body B and the respective ends of the horizontal body A are made with peripheral enlargements 9.
