Description

OR -D240930 DESIGN.
W. H. TAYLOR.
PADLOGK CASE.
No. 24,930. Patented Nov. 26, 1895.
1 I l rwya UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
\VARREN ll. TAYLOR, OF STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE YALE & TOXYNE MANUFACTURING COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A PADLOCK-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,930, dated November 26, 1895.
Application filed October 12, 1895. Serial No. 666,621. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, \YARREN ll. TAYLOR, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Stamford, in the county of Fair-field and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Padlock-Case, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the acco1npanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 a front elevation of a padlockcase, showing my design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation of the same. Fig. 3 is a front elevation of the padlock-case, showing the utility of the circular boss, which provides a panel for a trefoil figure, which in turn provides a panel for any desired lettering. The dotted lines indicate the shackle by which the case is supported.
The leading features of my design consist in the T-shaped raised portion at the front of the case having a circular boss on the face thereof, the T-shaped raised portion at the back of the case having a circular boss, and the T-shaped raised portion at the ends.
Mydcsign is in the form of a parallelopipedon body, which constitutes the case of apadlock. At the front, back, and ends of the body are horizontal and vertical raised portions providing T-shaped figures, and located on the faces of the front and back T-shaped figures are circular bosses providing panels which may contain a trefoil figure, within which may be any lettering desired.
Having thus described my invention, the following is what I claim as new therein and desire to secure by Design Letters Patent:
The design for a padlock-case; substantially as herein shown and described.
\YARREN H. TAYLOR.
