The leading feature of my design consists in an orange-knife the blade of which for a portion of its length converges to a sharp edge at one side, the end of the blade on the same side being provided with a laterally-projecting hook, one edge of which converges to a sharp cutting edge, contiguous and at an angle to which is a flattened shoulder.
In the said drawings the reference-numeral 1 indicates the orange-knife, having a. handle 2 and a blade The back of the blade is broad and flattened, and the sides 4 thereof converge to a sharp cutting edge 5 at the front, which extends the greater length of the blade. The end of the blade, as shown, is formed with a. hook 6, projecting laterally from the front of the blade in advance of the edge 5. One edge of the hook converges to a sharp cutting edge 7. Adjacent the sharp edge of the point and between the same and the sharp longitudinal edge of the blade is a flattened shoulder 8.
My design presents an orange-knife of novel and pleasing appearance.
