To ml whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, BENJAMIN F. BARNES, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rockford, in the county of Winnebago and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Frames for Drilling- Maehines, of which the following is a specification, reference bein had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a frame for d filling-machines as seen from the front, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a similar representation as seen from the rear.
As shown in the drawings, the loading or material features of my design consists of the column 1, a curved arm 2, supporting a head 3, a curved portion 1, supporting a bearing 5, a portion 6, and a brace 7, supporting a head 8 at the point of junction. An extension 9 supports a bearing 10. The lower portion 11 oi. the curved portion 4 blends into the lower portion of the curved arm 2. A rib projection 12 extends from the upper face of the curved arm 2. An opening 13 is formed in the head 3. An opening 14 extends through the head and a raised projection 15 extends horizontally below this opening. In the lower portion of the curved arm 2 is formed an opening 16, having an enlarged center portion 17.
Having described my invention, what 1 claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a frame for drilling-inachines substantially as herein shown and described.
