Be it known that I, JOHN I. MARSHALL, a :itizen of the Unit-ed States, residing at Bos- ;on, in the county of Sufiolk and State of lassachusetts, have invented and produced t new and original Design for Hollow Tiles "or Bake-Ovens, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the ac- :ompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the drawing I show a perspective View )f the tile.
As shown in the drawing,the tile is oblong 'ectangular in form and apertured from end ;0 end. Each side Wall has a longitudinal ahannel. One of the broad faces of the tile,
which may be called the top thereof, is of ess width than the opposite face, so that the 1W0 portions of each side wall upon opposite lldGS of its channel are in different planes. lhe top wall of the tile is of greater thick- 1653 than the bottom wall, and along each 1pperinterior corner there is a fillet extending downwardly below the line of the external channel in the side wall.
I have thus far described the leading and material features of the design, all of which I have shown in solid lines. The minor and less important feature of the design is a central longitudinal vertical partition wall shown in dotted lines and separating the chamber of the tile into two compartments.
