To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, PETER MACCAFFRAY, a itizen of the United States, residing in the :ity and county of Pl1iladelphia,State of Penn- ;ylvania, have invented and produced a new tud original Design for a Curtain, of which ;he following is a specification, reference be- .ng had to the'accompanying drawing, formng part thereof.
The leading features of my design for a cur- ;ain are, first, a border of a group of flowers; next, a central portion composed of an arch of lowers with pointed figures radiating therefrom, and, finally, the upper portion composed )f flowers with diverging and converging ,crolls around the same.
The figure represents a face view of a piece )f curtain embodying my design.
In the drawing, A designates the border, :omposed of the flowers B B and the scrolls 3, grouped therewith.
D designates the central portion, the same being composed of the arch E and the pointed figure F, radiating inwardly therefrom, said arch inclosing the top flowers of the border.
G designates the upper portion, composed of the flowers H, the diverging scrolls J below, and the converging scrolls K above, said flowers H being within said scrolls J K.
Rising from the base of the arch E are the columns L and M of flowers and scrolls, the same joining the scrolls J K.
Having thus described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a curtain substantially as shown and described.
