DESIGN FOR A HASSOCK.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 30,509, dated April 4, 1899.
Application filed February 21,1899. Serial No. 706,416. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE BENNISON GREEN, a. citizen of the United States, residing at New York, (Brooklyn,) in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Hassocks; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The invention has relation to a new and original design for hassocks; and it consists in a hassock of the configuration and ornamentation shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of the invention, and Fig. 2 is a top plan View.
The hassock consists of a smooth cylindrical body portion 1, having at its base an annular ring 2 and at its upper edge a similar ring 3, from which extends in a zigzag manner a colored or striped cord 4, laced through ornamental rosettes 5.
6 denotes bows of ribbon, and 7 a tufted crown com posed of differently-colored segmental sections.
8 denotes a loop connected centrally to the tufted crown.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Design Letters Patent of the United States, is-
The design for a hassock as herein shown and described.
